Getting Around

We recommend that you use a private vehicle with a driver. Roads to tourist destinations such as the Old City and Chinatown are quite crowded vehicles. Depart early so you can reduce the potential for traffic jams. Because the road in Jakarta is quite jammed, you usually only visit one tourist spot in one day.

Estimated Holiday Budget

Tourist destination in Jakarta such as Kota Tua and Chinatown set a pretty cheap entrance fee. In Chinatown for example, you only need to pay for parking fees. But on the other hand, you have to prepare extra cash for meals and hotels because they tend to be more expensive than other cities.

Kota Tua and Chinatown are a highlight of Jakarta's tourist attractions. Kota Tua is located across North Jakarta and West Jakarta. Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia, located on the northwest coast of Java. In the northern part, Jakarta is directly adjacent to the Java Sea. The eastern part borders the West Java Province. The southern part borders West Java. While the western part borders Banten Province.

Visa Information

Since March 2016, as many as 169 countries receiving VISA-free visits are given a stay permit for 30 days and cannot be extended. To get VISA free, make sure you have a valid passport at least 6 months after the date of arrival. In addition, you must have a round trip ticket and hotel booking confirmation.
