BOROBUDUR BUDDHIST TEMPLE
Enjoy the beauty of Borobudur, one of the world’s wonders. This temple was built in the 8th century with 504 Buddha statues, 72 stupas and the marvelous manuscript. Mahakarmavibhangga, Jatakamala and Avadhana stories are carved on it. Other two smaller temples; Pawon Temple with its typical Javanese village surrounding and Mendut temple with its 3 meters high monolith statues of Buddha Shakyamuni are also visited.
Borobudur is the world’s largest Buddhist temple as well as one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world. Built the reign of the Sailendra Dynasty, the temple was designed in Javanese Buddhist architecture, which blends the Indonesian indigenous cult of ancestor worship and the Buddhist concept of attaining Nirvana. At that time was still thick with the Indonesian Buddhist culture in some of the kingdom. Borobudur is one of the acculturation of Buddhist culture and Javanese culture which describe the majesty of the gods in it. Borobudur temple becomes a world heritage site UNESCO.
On every June in a leap year, Borobudur temple used Buddhist in Indonesia to commemorate Vesak. Vesak is celebrated as the day of birth, death and when Siddharta Gautama obtained the highest wisdom to become the Buddha Shakyamuni. The third event is called Vesak Trisuci by foot, Vesak ceremony centered at three Buddhist temples are of Mendut Temple to PawonTemple and ending at Borobudur Temple. At the time, people believed that Borobudur as a gathering place of supernatural powers. According to belief, the Buddha will appear in a look at the top of the mountain exactly in the south during Vesak. Now Borobudur has become a tourist attraction that is preferred by many tourists both local and foreign tourists. In addition, the Borobudur Temple has been a holy place and the center of the most important annual celebration for Buddhists in Indonesia, Vesak. Borobudur is one proof of the greatness and the human intellect has ever made in Indonesia. In addition to Bali and Jakarta, Borobudur is a major cultural tourism and in Indonesia.

Please note that all online bookings require payment of 20% of the total package price at the time of the booking. The balance will be required at least 30 days prior to your date of arrival.
Hanindo Tour & Travel will hold a reservation for up to seven days at a client’s request (7 days for booking request more than 30 days prior to arrival and 2 days for booking request less than 30 days prior to arrival), to allow the client time to send a deposit payment. The full amount of the deposit (or the full amount of the booking if the booking is made within 30 days of the date of arrival) must be received before we can confirm your booking.
If confirmation is not received within the seven days all blocked rooms and tour arrangements will be automatically released.
After full payment, this guarantees that all your arrangements for your services will be delivered according to plan. However should you request for additional services, products, etc, we shall charge you the additional costs incurred from these new arrangements.

In order to facilitate your down payment using your Visa/Master Card through our Transfer wise account, please follow the instructions on the email sent to you by Hanindo Tour & Travel. The amount due on the transfer wise invoice is exactly the same as our invoice sent to you by email in Excel format. Once we receive the amount in our Transfer wise account we will send you an email to notify you that the payment was received.
All cancellations must be in writing and be made by the person who submitted the booking form. Please send an email to info@hanindotours.com
