Taman Sari is a historical site in Yogyakarta, which was once a bath for the king’s family and site a former royal garden of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta. Visitors can recognize the architecture elements of the building which contains some combination architecture styles of Hindu, Buddhist, Javanese, Islam, China, Portuguese, and Europe style and have functioned as a place to rest, meditate, work, hide and defend the Sultan’s family.
The palace of Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat or called Kraton Yogyakarta is the Javanese culture living museum. The palace is the main living area of Sultan of Yogyakarta and his family. It became a cultural center for the Javanese people and include a museum that displays the Sultan’s goods. Built in grand and elegant Javanese Architectural style, lies in the center of the municipality. It was built in 1756 by Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono I.
Want to discover more of Indonesia's heritage? Continue your trip to batik workshop near The Sultan Palace. Batik is known as one of Indonesia's national treasures and included in UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list. If you want, you can take a short course on batik making. Along with practicing your drawing and art skills, you will also learn about the deep Javanese philosophy behind some of the more common batik patterns. Then, you will go to Bird Market. Located close to the Kraton and Taman Sari, it's worth a visit. This bird market is known as PASTY (Pusat Satwa dan Tanaman Hias Yogyakarta), the center of flora & fauna. Previously located near Tamansari Water Castle, then moved to Jalan Bantul Km 1 in 2014 the south part of the city.

Please note that all online bookings require payment of 20% of the total package price at the time of the booking. The balance will be required at least 30 days prior to your date of arrival.
Hanindo Tour & Travel will hold a reservation for up to seven days at a client’s request (7 days for booking request more than 30 days prior to arrival and 2 days for booking request less than 30 days prior to arrival), to allow the client time to send a deposit payment. The full amount of the deposit (or the full amount of the booking if the booking is made within 30 days of the date of arrival) must be received before we can confirm your booking.
If confirmation is not received within the seven days all blocked rooms and tour arrangements will be automatically released.
After full payment, this guarantees that all your arrangements for your services will be delivered according to plan. However should you request for additional services, products, etc, we shall charge you the additional costs incurred from these new arrangements.
We have set up an account with Transfer wise, a secure online way of paying with your credit card.
In order to facilitate your down payment using your Visa/Master Card through our Transfer wise account, please follow the instructions on the email sent to you by Hanindo Tour & Travel. The amount due on the transfer wise invoice is exactly the same as our invoice sent to you by email in Excel format. Once we receive the amount in our Transfer wise account we will send you an email to notify you that the payment was received.
All cancellations must be in writing and be made by the person who submitted the booking form. Please send an email to info@hanindotours.com
